ABOUT BUNLOAF
The idea behind bunloaf started in 2006. The building blocks by 2009. The research in 2012. The website in 2014. The realization in 2022.
And the grand opening in 2024.
There are many more options for species-appropriate goods for rabbits and rodents now than there were back in 2006 when we realized we could do better. Advances in care and quality of care, in addition to food, forage, enrichment, and living spaces for our (usually) small fuzzy friends has exploded, albeit largely online instead of physical stores, but there is still room both for improvement, creativity, and for more!
It only took us almost twenty years, but we finally had all we needed to take that hop of faith and start what we've wanted to do for years: improve the lives of buns and rodents everywhere.
(or at least in the US for now)
We are here to make a difference and we are glad you're loafing with us!
Our goal is to provide quality and unique goods that are healthy and fun for rabbits, rodents, and birds. The focus, of course, on bunnies, hence our name and style (and our background), but many items overlap in suitability for other species. As we grow as a company, we plan on introducing more specialized items to our growing list of products for our floofy and feathery companions.
We believe in the importance of diversity with diet and enrichment, and in addition to building up our product list of forage herbs, aim to empower owners and caregivers to invest in the care of their companions by growing and foraging flowers and herbs that may not be easily accessible otherwise (by which we mean, unlikely to be bought in a store). Education is key!

By sourcing quality items and even growing, harvesting, building, designing, and creating our own products, we give our customers everything they need to know to make informed choices about their purchases, and what they buy, feed, and give their bunloaves.
We can grow larger and better with you, the customer, and with each purchase at bunloaf, you're directly benefiting the loaves of the present and all the future loaves to be. We will be able to give back to non-profits because of you, develop partnerships with suppliers and our community both local and at large because of you, support the health and appropriate care of buns around the country because of you, and make a real difference for rabbits and rodents everywhere as we bring awareness to their specific needs and requirements.
